The Tea Porter started with the intent to bring artisanal and organic Taiwanese tea to everyone's cup.
Our goal is to introduce people to lesser-known Taiwanese tea varietals and show that well-crafted tea has natural sweetness and pleasant flavor profiles without the addition of artificial flavors, sweeteners, or fruits.
Our tea is grown and processed in certified organic, small-scale family tea farms in Taiwan. We, together with our tea farmers and tea masters, proudly share our love for tea and present Taiwanese terroir to you through a delicious cup of tea.
All our teas use whole tea leaves instead of chopped tea leaves. This allows the tea to gradually release flavors during multiple steeping, resulting a more nuanced, flavorful cup of tea.
Traditional tea processing requires meticulous attention and expertise to achieve the desired flavors and aromas. Our farmers and tea masters work in small batches to ensure each batch reaches perfection.
We sourced directly from small scale tea farms in Taiwan. Delivering tea from farmers with no middleman or brokers involved.
All our teas are certified organic by Taiwanese organic certification organizations recognized by USDA.
